Hi Halle,

i would like know, how can i avoid the junk word detection in openears.

I will let you know in detail.I have the following words in dictionary file

1.HIT
2.CUP
3.TEA
4.HAI

The all 4 words are detecting well at first attempt. However the issue is,whenever i say “HELLO”, openears detected it as “HAI”. Whenever i say “JUMP” openears detected it as “CUP” !!..

My aim is simple, i don’t want to detect anything when i say ” HELLO” or i don’t want to detect anything when i say a word that not in dictionary file.

may i know is it possible with Openears? if yes, please provide me the details.

Thanks

This is known as out-of-vocabulary rejection and it’s something you’d need to inquire about at the CMU sphinx board since it is primarily a pocketsphinx question.

Updated: you can now handle out of vocabulary rejection using Politepix’s Rejecto plugin for OpenEars.
